Banqup secures major contract with global payment leader to drive e-invoicing compliance

29.08.2025Banqup, the leading platform for financial administration, today announced it has been selected by a major international payment technology company to support a critical part of its financial infrastructure. Banqup will provide the e-invoicing engine for the client's internal operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency for all invoices sent to its customers in Germany and Israel.

Emerging compliance obligations in both countries are reshaping the invoicing landscape:

  • Germany: Currently requires the ability to receive incoming e-invoices. Outbound invoicing and e-reporting will follow under the EU's upcoming ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age) directive.

  • Israel: Faces a new mandate requiring e-reporting for financial transactions.

The client has adopted a “follow-the-mandate” strategy, allowing for the activation of additional countries as local e-invoicing or e-reporting obligations come into effect. Driven by ViDA and similar global initiatives, such mandates are expected to be standard across all EU member states by 2030, with global adoption steadily increasing.

This contract win reinforces Banqup’s position as a global leader in e-invoicing compliance. The company was selected for its proven expertise and scalable technology, capable of meeting the stringent requirements of global enterprises.

"We are proud to have been selected to provide this mission-critical service for the world's most recognized payment platform," said Nicolas de Beco, CEO of Banqup Group. "This is a significant win for Banqup, validating our technology and compliance depth. It proves that we can not only meet but exceed the standards of a global enterprise, and we are excited to grow this partnership moving forward."

The initial rollout in Germany and Israel highlights the power and scalability of the Banqup platform. As global regulatory demands grow more complex, Banqup is positioned as the provider of choice for companies seeking to modernize financial operations and ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.
